People and Talent Coordinator

The role
As a People & Talent Coordinator, you play a key role in building and maintaining the HR foundation at WP SEO AI. You’ll be supporting a growing organisation in Amsterdam, where the team expanded from around 15 to 100 colleagues over the past year and is expected to grow significantly further. In Finland, around 50 colleagues are part of the organisation as well.
You work closely with the Head of People and take ownership of the broader HR foundation as the organisation continues to develop. Your primary focus will be on the Amsterdam team, while also contributing to the setup and improvement of HR systems and processes that support our colleagues in Finland. You won’t be responsible for day-to-day HR operations there, but you will help ensure that the right structures and systems are in place across locations.
You are the first point of contact for employees and managers on HR-related topics and ensure that day-to-day HR operations run smoothly. At the same time, you actively help professionalise and improve HR processes as the organisation grows in size and complexity. Your responsibilities span the full HR lifecycle, including contracts, payroll, leave administration, onboarding and offboarding.
As HR is still evolving within WP SEO AI, you’ll have a lot of room to think along, improve existing processes and help set up new structures that are clear, scalable and future-proof. Beyond operations, you play an important role in developing training programmes, performance and review cycles, development paths and career frameworks that fit a growing organisation.
In doing so, you help position HR not just as a support function, but as a reliable and trusted partner to the business. Together with the Office Manager, you also play a connecting role in the office, contributing to internal events and initiatives that strengthen our culture and sense of belonging.
What you’ll be doing
- Manage monthly payroll in collaboration with external partners
- Conduct conversations with employees and managers about performance, development, absence and collaboration
- Help set up, improve and maintain HR processes and policies
- Keep a close eye on labour law and HR regulations, coordinating with legal when needed to ensure compliance
What we are looking for
- At least 2 years of experience in an HR role, preferably in a fast-growing organisation
- Experience with payroll, onboarding and offboarding, contract management and HR administration
- You’re enthusiastic, proactive and approachable, someone who likes to roll up their sleeves and support others
- Experience with project management and independently coordinating HR projects; you enjoy contributing to the setup and improvement of HR processes
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field
- Fluent in both Dutch and English
