2023

How it all started

WP SEO AI started as a side project. Like many entrepreneurs, we built it first for ourselves. We were running our own companies and hitting the same SEO roadblocks everyone knows: scaling content, tracking what works, and seeing what actually drives visibility. 

Instead of patching together half-solutions or outsourcing, we built our own. Call it eating our own dog food, solving our own problem, only to realize the problem was everywhere. Across industries, across markets. 

What began as an internal experiment proved too valuable to keep in-house. In 2023, Mikael, Henrik and Pontus made the call to turn it into a company. The original idea was never to launch WP SEO AI as a product. But the impact was too strong to ignore.
